Description: Tarkh is a 8 year old 16hh black Percheron Quarter Horse gelding looking for a good home. He is exceedingly healthy and sound. He has excellent feet and can go barefoot. He has wonderful ground manners, is easy to load/trailer, groom, good for vet/farrier, gets along wonderfully with other horses and animals, and doesn't have a mean bone in his body. He has had 9 months of professional training, but is barely greenbroke and should be considered very green and extremely spooky. He is rather hard to catch if he is at liberty in a pasture - he can be bribed with food but you have to sneak the halter on him. He will only go to an exceptional home that is willing to continue his training. History:Tarkh was born on April 18, 2001 in Granger, WA and was named Rhet. He was the son of a huge black Percheron stallion and a black foundation-bred Quarter Horse mare. As a three year old he learned to pull carts, sleds, wagons and logs. He was trained for both single and double driving with his brother Rocky. After a driving accident where the horses spooked and destroyed their wagon, Rhet was sold off.
