Mercy is a solidly built mule who appears to not have anything significantly wrong with her other then poor care and some age (probably over 25 years). She is very friendly, but slightly more reserved than Charity. Still, she is the first one to run up and if you give her treats she thinks you are wonderful. Mercy is a pack mule but was also said to be broke to ride. If so, she could probably still hit the trails for some light work.History:
Mercy worked hard all her life in the mountains of Idaho. She was a pack mule and contributed to the livelihood of her owner. She was probably starting to slow down and no longer able to keep up with the mule string and so cut loose. When I found her she was at the Hermiston auction and couldn't even get a single bid. I took her to give her a good last summer and perhaps, if she were very lucky, to find her a home where she could live out the rest of her life as a beloved pet.
*Board/feed costs are rarely posted, however most horses incur approximately $200/month in such costs.
