Final Update: 1/11/20 - RIP. You were loved and got a wonderful retirement until colic. Description:Charity is the sweetest animal that you are likely to meet. She absolutely loves people and she will hang all over you begging for treats or scratches. She has a lot of scars and her hip is crippled, but none of that detracts from her ability to shower love on anyone who gives her a chance. This old lady wants nothing more than to be your friend. She is an older gal and is a minimum of 25 years. History:Charity worked hard all her life in the mountains of Idaho. She was a pack mule and contributed to the livelihood of her owner. She gave her all to her work even with horribly fitting pack saddles that cut her to the bone and have left huge gashes of scars. She likely fell off a trail with a pack on her and damaged her left hip bad enough that she was judged worthless and thrown away. When I found her she was at the Hermiston auction and couldn't even get a single bid. I took her to give her a good last summer and perhaps, if she were very lucky, to find her a home where she could live out the rest of her life as a beloved pet.
